Take the first step to becoming a EuroChamps27 Hockey Maker

April 17, 2026

EuroChamps27 is calling for volunteers to help power the biggest EuroHockey Championships London has seen in over a decade and the first step starts today.

From the opening whistle at Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre to the roar of finals day at The Twickenham Stoop, thousands of moments will need your help to bring them to life.

Our volunteers will span a wide range of roles, each one vital to delivering this world-class event. Whether you love engaging with people, working behind the scenes, or being close to the action on the field of play, there is a place for you as a Hockey Maker.

Roles will include everything from spectator services, helping fans find their seats, navigate venues and feel genuinely welcomed to team liaison positions, working directly alongside the competing nations and experiencing the tournament from an entirely unique vantage point. No two days will look the same, and no contribution will be too small.

The last time London hosted the EuroHockey Championships was 2015 which was a tournament that left a lasting legacy on the sport. EuroChamps27 is set to be bigger, bolder and more inclusive than anything that came before it, with equality and community at its core. As a volunteer, you will carry that spirit forward, playing a direct role in inspiring the next generation of players, fans and people who love this sport.

Full role details, training information and application windows will follow but the story of EuroChamps27 begins right now, and we want you in it from the start. Take the first step and tell us you’re in.
